Moorfields Eye Hospital are recruiting an experienced Band 4 Rotational Registered Pharmacy Technician to join their highly skilled and qualified team.

Their clinical staff take great pride in providing high-quality care to their patients across their extensive specialist clinics, including their A&E department; Paediatric clinic; Retinal Therapy Unit; Cataract, Glaucoma, Genetics, Oracular Oncology departments; and many more. It provides state-of-the-art operating facilities run by some of the UK’s leading ophthalmology surgeons, providing operative services including laser treatment, vision correction, cosmetic treatment, and various other corrective treatment for a range of eye conditions.
This post is rotational and the post holder must be prepared to travel the Moorfields North and South Divisions. Rotations will cover patient facing pharmacy dispensaries based in the North division (Ealing, Northwick Park, St. Ann’s and Stratford) and a base site at Moorfields at St. Ann’s Hospital.
The post holder will assist in the provision of a safe and an efficient patient focused clinical pharmacy service in the main dispensaries. They will support the Senior Pharmacy Technician delivering a robust and efficient pharmacy top-up service which ensures safe supply of medicines to wards and other clinical areas across the Trust. To liaise with internal stakeholders to ensure timely and cost effective medicines supply to wards and departments within the trust. To liaise with external stakeholders regarding medication supply issues or shortages, to liaise with the Senior Pharmacy Technician when shortages have been highlighted.
