Role: Locum Pharmacy Technician

Banding: Band 4

Location: Oxford

Start Date: ASAP

End Date: 21/03/2025

Rate: £19 – £22 per hour

Working hours: Full-time, 37.5 hours per week (Monday to Friday)

About the role:

The Pharmacy team at Pulse is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Band 4 Pharmacy Technician to join our team. This is an office-based, non-patient facing role, ideal for those who thrive in a structured environment and want to contribute to the healthcare system in a supportive capacity.

Duties and Responsibilities:

You will perform office-based tasks with some dispensary work as needed. You will support the pharmacy team in delivering high-quality patient care and assist with office and finance duties.

Qualifications and Experience:
  • Experience/Knowledge:
    • NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification.
    • Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician.
    • GCSEs in Maths and English.
    • Office and finance experience are highly desirable.
    • Hospital experience is a plus but not essential.
  • Skills/Abilities:
    • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
    • Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines.
    • Strong problem-solving skills and decision-making under pressure.
    • Ability to work effectively within a team.
