We want you to join our innovative, hardworking and caring Outpatient Team, within Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services. You will be an integral part of the team, providing administrative support to your team, the wider admin team, external agencies, patients and families.
This demanding role will require the post holder to use their full range of administrative skills to ensure an efficient service is provided. The role comprises a wide range of specific duties, including managing the team\'s phoneline, taking phone calls from patients regarding arranging appointments, cancellations and queries, and ensuring appointment slots are booked in a timely manner. Other duties include sending correspondence, liaising with clinical staff, photocopying documents, scanning and both email and task management.
You will work alongside clinical staff to support the provision of high-quality care to patients, their families and referring clinicians to ensure a smooth transition through our service. This role is to support the clinical and nursing staff in the Outpatients Team of the Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services based at Westcotes House. You will be responsible for dealing with telephone calls/enquiries from patients and their families regarding a wide range of issues including appointment and waiting times.
You will need to be confident speaking on the telephone and able to take accurate messages for the clinical staff. You will also be required to format care plans and reports, deal with enquiries in shared task and email inboxes, cover reception when required and perform other general administrative duties as needed.

You should be able to work both on your own initiative and as part of the wider team, prioritising your work effectively.
