A local bakery in Gloucester is looking for passionate bakers to produce high-quality biscuits, traybakes, and cakes. As part of the hard-working bakery team, you'll ensure food safety and quality standards are met while fulfilling production schedules. Previous experience in a bakery is a plus, but full training is available. Join us to bring joy to our customers with your baking skills!
Know your Victoria sponge from your fruit cake? Our bakers are responsible for producing our exceptional range of biscuits, traybakes and cakes sold in our farmshops and kitchens. You will make sure we can delight our customers by achieving a high standards of food quality and presentation; in line with company standards and that adequate quantities are produced to fulfil the requirements of the business.
Adhering to the production schedules you will help the team in ensuring orders are fulfilled and sufficient products are produced for expected levels of trade whilst ensuring products are of a consistent high quality and produced in line with our specifications. You will also ensure food safety requirements are met and all required checks are completed and recorded as required.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone with a passion for baking to join our hard working, friendly bakery team. Previous experience working in a bakery or food production environment would be an advantage but full training will be given.
