A public health service provider in Melton Mowbray is seeking an Occupational Therapist to enhance their skills within a supportive team. You will provide assessments and rehabilitation for older adults, manage a personal caseload, and supervise junior staff. Opportunities for professional development are available. Flexibility across two hospital sites is crucial. Ideal candidates will have strong communication and teamwork skills, with prior experience in a hospital setting being beneficial.

Your Mission: You'll be providing an occupational therapy assessment and rehabilitation service to the patients on Melton and Rutland wards.
Your Superpowers: You'll be an autonomous practitioner, managing your own caseload, assessing and treating patients, ensuring safe and effective discharges and adhering to professional standards and best practices.
Team working: You'll be building and nurturing strong relationships with your nursing, ACP, and AHP colleagues on the ward as well as your community colleagues in Adult Social Care and Community Therapy.
Guiding the Next Generation: You'll be supervising and supporting our therapy support workers and apprentices to build their skills by sharing your knowledge and experience.
Experience: Previous work within an inpatient setting as a band 5 or band 6 Occupational Therapist is desirable for this role but not essential.
