⚙️ The Role: What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)
- Hands‑On Maintenance: Perform assembly, disassembly, modification, troubleshooting, and repair of intricate aircraft avionic systems (electrical, electronic, pneumatic, hydraulic) in accordance with approved technical data.
- Quality & Compliance: Deliver aircraft maintenance under stringent aviation regulatory approvals (MRP Part 145), ensuring adherence to all processes, accurate work recording, and regulatory compliance.
- Technical Expertise: Confidently interpret technical documents, drawings, and publications to execute maintenance activities to the highest standard.
- Team Contribution: Control and sequence demanding individual workloads, meet schedule milestones, and potentially provide advice, guidance, or mentoring to peers and trainees.
- Risk Management: Actively contribute to our honest reporting culture, mitigating immediate risks and escalating emerging issues promptly.
✅ Are You the Avionic Expert We Need? (Essential Criteria)
- Qualification: Recognised relevant trade apprenticeship or equivalent trade training.
- Experience: Proven background in either commercial or defence aircraft maintenance, with knowledge of general aircraft maintenance practices (e.g., Human Factors, FOD, tool control, health & safety).
- Regulatory Knowledge: Working knowledge of MAA Regulatory Articles (RA) and the application of MRP Part 145 within a maintenance environment.
- Technical Skills: Capable of understanding and interpreting technical information, and proficient in using IT tools (Microsoft Office Suite).
- Security Clearance: Must be a UK Resident with the ability to obtain and maintain a UK Security Check (SC) clearance.
