The Job:

The Automation QA Engineer role within Kuoni Tumlare involves delivering testing across various projects and IT applications. Working closely with software developers, you will analyze and resolve defects, ensuring quality delivery and maintenance of software and applications.

Responsibilities include collaborating with business analysts and developers to define testing scope for legacy and new web-based systems, providing estimates, designing and maintaining test scripts, executing manual and automated tests, reviewing results, analyzing and tracking issues, and supporting defect resolution. Flexibility to assist with Business Analysis and support tasks as needed is also required.

To succeed in this role, you must have:

• Experience with technical and project management methodologies in Quality Assurance
• Over 3 years of experience in automation QA, particularly with BSS applications and transformation projects
• Experience with automation frameworks and tools for web and desktop applications
• Knowledge of automation principles, testing techniques, and API automation
• Experience with JIRA for bug tracking
• Travel industry knowledge is advantageous
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal
• Strong problem-solving skills, accountability, and decision-making abilities
• Ability to articulate ideas to technical and non-technical audiences
• Positive attitude, creativity, and cultural awareness
