Job summary

A renowned special education provider in Bristol is seeking an Autism Specialist Assistant to support young people with Autism Spectrum Disorder. In this role, you will work closely with students on a 1:1 basis, implementing tailored strategies to foster a positive learning environment. Candidates with a background in psychology or relevant education and a calm, patient approach are encouraged to apply. An Enhanced DBS Check will be necessary, and support is available for the process.

Qualifications

  • Experience supporting individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD).
  • Ability to implement strategies for managing challenging behaviours.
  • Must have an Enhanced DBS Check.
