Audio / Sound Technician (Warehouse-Based)

Do you have a background in Audio / Sound Equipment, Live Events or similar? This market‑leading Audio Rental company provides audio equipment for live events across the UK and around the globe including festivals such as Glastonbury and global tours including Beyoncé. They have experienced steady growth since their establishment 45 years ago and have recently been acquired by a global audio company, moved into a larger premises increasing their headcount to 150 people.

In this varied role, you would be responsible for all of the preparation and de‑prepping of a range of state‑of‑the‑art equipment including speakers, PA systems, microphones, cables and rigging equipment. You will test, fault‑find and maintain all departmental equipment. This role is a 5‑day week which may include weekend work; any hours worked over 35 will be paid as overtime.

This role would suit a degree‑qualified candidate with an Audio or Sound background looking to take a permanent position in the live events industry for a world class audio rental company with a global presence. They are known for their excellent progression pathways, specialist industry training and plentiful overtime to increase your earnings.

The Role:

• Maintenance and Repair of Equipment including Speakers and Rigging equipment
• Preparation and de‑prepping of all equipment
• Assisting casual staff, working with other departments
• 35 hours per week (Core Hours 10am‑6pm)
• Overtime available – 1.5 × hourly rate
• Progression and Training opportunities
