An educational institution is seeking an Attendance Improvement Officer at Wreake Valley Academy to support student attendance and engagement. The ideal candidate will need strong relationship-building skills, a calm demeanor, and a passion for helping young people thrive. The role involves working collaboratively with students, parents, and colleagues, ensuring safeguarding and confidentiality. This is a full-time, permanent position with a competitive salary and opportunities for professional development.
Permanent, 37 hours per week, term time only plus inset (39 weeks per year). Grade 7, Pt 11 to 14 (£22,964 to £24,089). Start Date: ASAP. Application Closes: 9am Monday 15th December 2025. Provisional Interview Date: W/C Monday 15th December 2025.

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an Attendance and Improvement Officer to join our dedicated team at The Wreake Academy. We require someone that can work Monday-Friday for 37 hours per week on a permanent basis. The purpose of the role is to ensure that students are supported to be regularly attending school and thriving. This is an opportunity to work alongside a dedicated team offering pastoral intervention and support to our young people and their families. We are looking for a calm, approachable and student-focused individual. The ability to work independently and as part of a team is essential.
