Cost Accounting Responsibilities
- Calculate cost of project (raw materials, labor, overhead, etc.).
- Analyze cost variances and recommend cost-saving measures.
- Maintain inventory costing and monitor material usage efficiency.
- Track total project efficiency.
- Prepare cost reports for management decision-making.
Financial Accounting Responsibilities
- Maintain accurate financial records and ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, annual and project wise financial statements.
- Manage accounts payable & receivable, bank reconciliations, and ledger entries.
- Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning.
- Ensure tax compliance (VAT, corporate tax, withholding tax, etc.).
Internal Control & Compliance
- Implement cost control measures and monitor project expenses.
- Ensure compliance with financial policies, audit requirements, and legal regulations.
- Work with auditors for internal & external financial audits.
Software & Automation
- Work with IT to implement cost & financial automation in ERP/accounting systems.
- Generate automated costing & financial reports for management review.
