Associate - Real Estate Finance - Cardiff - 4+ years PQE

Location: Cardiff (Hybrid & Flexible)

Salary: £60,000 to £70,000

Chadwick Nott is working in partnership with a respected UK law firm to recruit an experienced Associate for their Real Estate Finance team based in Cardiff. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a dynamic and collaborative practice, working on high-profile property finance transactions with leading lenders and borrowers across the UK.

The Role

This Cardiff-based role offers exposure to a broad range of complex and high-value real estate finance matters, including:

  • Advising lenders and borrowers on structured property finance transactions
  • Drafting and negotiating facility agreements, security documents, and related contracts
  • Managing transactions from instruction through to completion
  • Supporting senior lawyers on strategic deals while handling your own caseload
  • Delivering commercial, pragmatic advice to clients across the UK

You'll work closely with a highly regarded team and contribute to transactions with significant financial and reputational impact.

Candidate Requirements
  • Qualified solicitor with a minimum of 4 years PQE
  • Strong transactional real estate experience within a reputable commercial property team
  • Proven expertise in real estate finance matters
  • Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
  • Commercially astute with a solution-driven approach

Working Arrangements

This is a full-time role based in Cardiff, with hybrid working supported. A minimum of three days in-office.
