Associate Editor/Editor

We are currently seeking an Associate Editor with a minimum of 1.5 years of experience in medical communications (editorial assistant/junior writer) for an exciting opportunity.

The ideal candidate will be proficient in using Microsoft applications such as PowerPoint, Word, and Adobe. In addition, they should have a good working knowledge and application of compliance and the ABPI code.

Applicants should also have solid experience using Veeva, including reference linking and managing documents through review. Experience editing documents to align with different client styles is also required.

We are on the hunt for 2 x levels
  • Associate Editor (£31-34k)
  • Editor (£34-£39k)

Associate Editors will have at least 12 months experience of editing within a med comms agency. The core of the role is compliance management of materials such as slides, speaker briefs, materials to promote meetings etc. The successful candidate will be well versed in referencing scientific materials and using PowerPoint, preferably with hands on experience of pharmaceutical compliance software.

We are also looking for a more experienced editor. They are likely to be closer to 3 years' experience and have a broader skillset to carry out quality check review of more junior colleague's work and edit more complex materials - they should also have had decent exposure to ABPI compliance. This proven experience to provide more senior editing input is essential for candidates applying for this role.

As a reminder our package looks like this:
  • Flexible working - our guys work about 2 days a week in the office on average and so people need to be able to commit to 2 days min, Tuesday, and Thursdays
