Our Tech, Strategy, Vision & Architecture (TSV&A) operating unit in the UK is growing and we are looking to hire experienced individuals to be part of a team delivering high‑quality consultative services in a dynamic and growing marketplace. You will have the opportunity to become a key member of this team, working with not only some of the largest global companies, but also some of the newest and most entrepreneurial businesses.
Responsibilities
- Drive large, complex and innovative transformation programmes through the development and delivery of technology architecture.
- Combine strategic thinking, advisory skills, and hands‑on architecture leadership to advise CxOs of some of the biggest and well‑known consumer brands globally.
- Lead teams that deliver technology strategies and technology roadmaps.
- Advise CTO/CIOs and board stakeholders on future technology investments and innovative technology solutions.
- Lead definition and delivery of the client’s architecture vision, as well as effective architecture options analysis & design decisions.
- Lead definition and execution of the client’s architecture management, governance and assurance process.
- Lead the development of architecture methods and collateral to build architecture community and capability.
- Use architecture knowledge and skills to support business development, build external eminence and lead the planning and running of architecture learning and development initiatives.
- Lead large client engagements, with a strong market‑trend awareness around the architecture, digital technologies, and cloud platforms.
- Create propositions driving business development activities in the consumer industry.
- Provide mentorship and build competence in TSV&A team in the areas of consumer industry domain.
Qualifications
- Strong understanding of Technology, Media, and Telecommunications (TMT) businesses, knowledge of the evolving market/industry trends and underlying architecture for enablement, as well as relevant regulatory requirements (e.g., data privacy, content regulation, competition law).
- Identifying, leading, closing, and supporting sales opportunities in the TMT technology market or digital transformation market within TMT, with a strong network of contacts across clients and the industry.
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle (SDLC) and demonstrates depth and breadth in at least six of these domains: Applications, Data, DevOps, Enterprise Architecture, Infrastructure, Machine Learning/AI, Platforms, Security, Integration, Business Architecture.
- Demonstrated experience in large‑scale transformation programmes within the Technology, Media, and Telecommunications sectors.
- Experience in providing advisory services to board‑level and C‑suite stakeholders.
- Experience working with relevant enterprise applications, including ERP, financial management systems, ECM systems, BPM applications, and core operational platforms (e.g., content ingestion and distribution systems, network provisioning, billing and order management systems). This includes understanding their integration with customer‑facing front‑end systems such as e‑commerce platforms and customer portals, and the supporting technology stacks, including cloud‑native architectures and microservices.
- Demonstrated experience of using new generation technology for digital TMT clients, with a focus on how these technologies underpin and transform mid and back‑office functions while impacting front‑end delivery. This includes leveraging cloud technologies (PaaS/SaaS) for scalable infrastructure and operational efficiency; adoption of data analytics for operational intelligence, network optimisation, and predictive analytics on resource utilisation; and zero‑trust security architecture to protect sensitive and personal data across the entire technology landscape.
- Build external and internal eminence by contributing your thought leadership (e.g., by speaking at industry events or publications).
Specialist Areas (choose one)
- Enterprise resources planning (ERP) and financial management systems specialised for TMT business models.
- Billing & revenue management (BRM) systems with complex rating, charging, invoicing, and subscription lifecycle management.
- Network management systems (NMS), service orchestration, and infrastructure management platforms for telecommunications, cloud, and data centre operations.
- Digital asset management (DAM) and content ingestion/workflow systems for enterprise content processes.
- Architecting solutions for AI/Machine Learning operations (MLOps), focusing on infrastructure, data pipelines, and deployment mechanisms for AI models that support back‑office automation and intelligent operations.
- Expertise in enterprise systems integration with customer‑facing front‑end applications (e.g., CRM, CMS, e‑commerce platforms).
