Associate Director, Risk Culture and Supervision

Join our fast paced and diverse Commodities and Global Markets Risk Culture and Supervision team, driving delivery and enhancement of our existing supervisory tools and control suite, and conduct related processes. We are a high-performing first line of defence team, dedicated to the critical areas of risk culture, supervision and conduct.

What role will you play?

You will lead engagement with senior stakeholders in EMEA, driving continual improvement of Commodities and Global Markets’ risk culture, conduct and supervisory practices. You will support our supervisors and stakeholders with all supervisory control and system queries, design and delivery of supervisory training and reviews, act as the local lead on conduct related issues (including market conduct), and be the local representative in relevant governance meetings. You will assist with preparation of management reporting.

You will build and maintain strong trusted stakeholder relationships, and coordinate with your global peers to ensure consistent delivery and fair and equitable treatment of Commodities and Global Markets staff and clients, and the markets it operates in.

What you offer
  • Highly motivated senior non-financial risk subject matter expert, with 12+ years of experience within financial services
  • A strong understanding of financial markets, front office supervision, conduct risk, market conduct, fraud and related rules / regulatory expectations; exposure to other financial or commodities trading businesses would also be beneficial
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management skills, with a demonstrated ability to collaborate with senior business and risk colleagues to drive, challenge, and influence
