Overview

Conrad Consulting are presenting a unique opportunity for an experienced, Associate level Architect to join one of the UK's leading Architectural studios. They regularly feature in the AJ100 rankings and have an excellent reputation in Manchester. This reputable firm has been regarded as one of the UK's premium architectural brands with an enviable portfolio of high-profile projects and regional offices across the UK to serve a wide range of clients on a national scale.

This is a strategic role within the Manchester studio. There will be a requirement to play a key role in delivering a number of complex projects alongside responsibilities as a driver of new business streams and development of existing client relationships. A number of these projects will relate to existing buildings and sensitive sites. The role may be suited to a Conservation accredited Architect.

Responsibilities
  • Project Management, including managing internal teams and consultants.
  • Attending project progress meetings.
  • Developing a detailed design programme with frequent reviews and amendments where necessary.
  • Providing progress reports to Senior board members and clients.
  • Defining and agreeing on the work package structure and reporting on outputs.
  • Supporting and developing a team of more junior Designers/Technicians where appropriate.
  • Meeting strict cost/time restraints.
Requirements
  • ARB/RIBA Registration - Minimum 8-10 Years post qualification experience.
  • Previous experience working and liaising directly with contractors.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal; confident presentation and leadership skills.
  • A proven ability to multi task and manage multiple workloads simultaneously.
  • Experience working on Listed buildings, Conservation/heritage schemes would be advantageous.
  • Proficiency with BIM & REVIT.
  • Strong business development skills.
