Qualifications

  • Degree (and ideally a postgraduate qualification) in Town Planning or related discipline.
  • Working towards (or recently achieved) RTPI membership.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and communication skills.
  • A proactive and organised approach with keen attention to detail.
  • Passionate about shaping sustainable and well-designed places.

Are you a passionate and ambitious Assistant Town Planner looking to progress your career with one of London’s most respected planning consultancies? Our client – a market-leading, independent firm renowned for delivering high-profile projects across London and the South East – is seeking a motivated planner to join their growing team.

The Role

You’ll support a team of experienced planning professionals on a diverse portfolio of projects spanning residential, commercial, mixed-use, and regeneration schemes. From the outset, you’ll gain exposure to all stages of the planning process – from site appraisals and research to preparing planning statements and assisting with client engagement.
