Overview

Job summary

We are looking for an individual to join the Pharmacy based Aseptic Services team. We have a highly regarded Aseptic Production Unit (APU) at the Trust and moved into our brand new site in 2023. The post holder will be responsible for the delivery of support activities to the aseptic production service.

Would you like to work in a Pharmacy aseptic environment? Do you like working in a busy department? Do you have an eye for detail?

Responsibilities
  • Assist and provide support within the effective and efficient day to day operations of the aseptic service: Parenteral Nutrition, Chemotherapy, Intravenous Additive Service.
  • Carry out environmental procedures: Daily readings in both set up and clean room; Weekly settle plates and swabs; Cleaning duties.
  • Ensure that the aseptic process is carried out in compliance with current Standard Operating Procedures following the principles of the Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and that all documentation is fully completed, filed and stored correctly.
