Job summary

Qualifications

  • Hold a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England.
  • Full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work.
  • Active Social Work England registration required.

  • Supervise and support staff, both practically and emotionally.

Overview

Connect2Socialwork are currently recruiting an Assistant Team Manager for the Children with Disabilities Service to join a local authority in South East England.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the leadership, management, and coaching of the team.
  • Promote and maintain high standards of social work practice.
  • Support the team in safeguarding and promoting the wellbeing of children and young people.
  • Foster effective partnership working with external agencies.
  • Supervise and support staff, both practically and emotionally.
  • Deputise for the Team Manager as needed.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge and skills in line with PCF and KSS requirements.
Requirements
  • You will hold a degree in Social Work and be registered with Social Work England
  • A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes is essential.
  • Active Social Work England registration
  • MUST HAVE: experience within a CYPD Team
