Job description

The ideal Assistant Restaurant & Bar Manager candidate must;

  • Come from a quality hotel / branded restaurant background.
  • Have strong managerial skills.
  • Will be passionate about Food & Beverage.
  • Able to provide exceptional standards of service and customer care under pressure.
  • Demonstrate excellent time management skills.
  • Must demonstrate their ability to deliver against set targets and budgets.
  • Be experienced in stocktaking, ordering and achieving targeted margins.
  • Be experienced in restaurant and bar sales forecasting.
  • Liaise with departments in order to drive promotional activity.
  • Effectively manage, train and develop a team of supervisors, bar and waiting staff.
  • To be inspirational, going out of their way to make sure that the guest experience is the best the guest could have.
  • The successful candidate must have excellent organisational skills and the ability to lead a team
  • Able to look after large functions to include weddings, conference and lunch/dinner parties
  • Duty manager shifts
Hours of Work and Pay

This is a permanent full time role, working 48 hours 5 days out of 7 with bank holidays and weekend working on a shift basis due to the nature of our business. We are offering a competitive rate of pay.
