I am recruiting for an established regional construction business based near Winchester who work within an hour geographically so cover Hampshire, Berkshire and Surrey. The company are a recognised brand with turnover in excess of £150 million per year from a regional branch network but still retain a family feel to the business in terms of values and how they treat staff, clients and the wider supply chain. They work on frameworks and negotiated schemes in the education, health care, retail and local authority marketplaces. Responsibilities

• Work with the estimating and bid teams to firm up prices and costs for each package based on the initial bids.
• Compile a working scope of works and bill of quantities for each package.
• Collaborate with the supply chain to establish how each phase will be delivered.
• Place orders, arrange pre-start meetings and manage the scheme in conjunction with the delivery team.
• Carry out the standard QS role of valuations, payments, remeasures, managing variation accounts, CVRs and weekly/monthly reporting and forecasting through to final account.
• Work under the supervision of a Senior Quantity Surveyor who will support training and development.
