Our Forensic Psychology department is recruiting for full-time Assistant Psychologist to join two of our services:
Marlborough House in Milton Keynes: a 28-bedded male medium secure forensic unit with 2 wards (an acute assessment ward and a rehabilitation-focused ward).
Woodlands House: a men's low secure forensic unit situated adjacent to the Whiteleaf Centre in Aylesbury.
You will be assisting with the planning and delivery of psychological interventions (group and individual), undertaking interview and psychometric assessments, assisting with the development of research and projects, as well as teaching work. You will be responsible for ensuring the provision of a high-quality psychological service, engaging with a challenging but rewarding population. There is an emphasis on close multi-disciplinary team working within a very supportive context. Staff support and working with families/carers are an important part of this role. There will be opportunities to get involved in projects and research to contribute significantly to improving the quality of the psychological services that we provide.
