A leading ports operator in the UK is seeking an Assistant Project Manager to join their Projects team. This role involves supporting Project Managers through project delivery from inception to completion, with responsibilities including project coordination, planning, and documentation. Our ABP Humber region (Hull, Immingham, Grimsby and Goole) is the UK's largest ports complex, handling 60 million tonnes of goods and a key foundation of a vital super cluster for decarbonisation.
With over £1 billion of planned investment across the Humber ports to 2030 we're currently looking to recruit an Assistant Project Manager to join our growing Projects team. You should have some experience assisting with projects in a client-side function. In this position you will act as assistant to the Project Managers supporting the delivery of projects from inception to completion covering aspects of scope definition, programme, budget and risk management.
Projects will be delivered across the 4 ports of ABP Humber with a base office at either Hull or Immingham facilitating ABP's operational delivery and supporting our sustainability strategy 'Ready for Tomorrow'. A strong proactive approach to HSE both day-to-day and throughout the project lifecycle is essential.
