Location: University Park
Salary: £46,049 to £58,225 per annum pro-rata, depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.

About the Role

The role holder will provide a consistently excellent standard of teaching and support for student learning underpinned by research and knowledge exchange in the fields of Architectural History and Theory.

Key responsibilities include:

Integrating historical and theoretical knowledge into contemporary architectural design studio teaching, fostering critical thinking and contextual awareness in design practice.

Collaborating with course directors and colleagues on curriculum development, student recruitment, and the running of undergraduate and postgraduate architecture programmes.

Supervising and examining Postgraduate, Masters, and PhD students.

Contributing significantly to the research culture of the Architecture, Culture and Tectonics Research Group and the Faculty of Engineering.
