Job description
Responsibilities
  1. Financial Reporting & Analysis: Prepare and analyze financial statements, variance reports, and forecasts to provide insights to management and stakeholders.
  2. General Ledger Management: Maintain the accuracy of the general ledger, ensure proper classification of financial transactions, and prepare journal entries.
  3. Account Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and other balance sheet accounts to identify and resolve discrepancies.
  4. Accounts Payable & Receivable: Manage the processing of invoices, payments, and receipts to ensure timely transactions and proper cash flow management.
  5. Tax Compliance: Calculate and maintain compliance with Income Tax and VAT laws, including preparing and filing returns, managing withholding taxes (TDS/VDS), maintaining records (like Mushak documents), and liaising with tax authorities.
  6. Auditing & Compliance: Prepare documentation and support for external audits, ensuring adherence to accounting policies and regulatory requirements.
  7. Process Improvement: Collaborate with teams to streamline accounting processes, implement automation, and improve the overall efficiency of financial systems.
  8. Analytical & Problem-Solving Skills: Ability to analyze complex financial data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies effectively.
  9. Attention to Detail: Crucial for ensuring the accuracy of financial records and reports.
Qualifications
  • Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally skill Must, also good in ERP) and advanced Excel skills (e.g., pivot tables, financial modeling).
  • Knowledge of Regulations: Strong understanding of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP), International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and relevant tax laws.
  • Communication: Ability to communicate financial information clearly and effectively to both financial and non-financial Authority like TAX, VAT others.
  • Organization & Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet strict deadlines, and maintain accurate financial records.
