Assistant M&E Manager – Canary Wharf

Salary: £40,000

Location: Canary Wharf, London

An established, dynamic main contractor with a strong reputation within the construction industry, specializing in delivering large regeneration schemes in London valued up to £700 million.

They offer a variety of first-class, comprehensive services with very good client relationships due to a track record of success in completing projects on time, to budget, and to the highest standards.

The company is seeking an ambitious, experienced Assistant M&E Manager to join their team.

The Role

The ideal candidate will be an innovative individual who can bring new ideas, is motivated, and has superior interpersonal and communication skills.

The role encompasses the design, installation, and maintenance of essential services and equipment, including water, gas, and electricity supplies, lighting, heating and air-conditioning, ICT, and security systems.

Responsibilities and Key Attributes
  • Relevant trade background or degree qualified
  • Experience in both mechanical and electrical works
  • 3 years of M&E experience
  • Reviewing installation plans and specifications
  • Reviewing prices for services work
  • Managing mechanical and electrical health and safety
  • Effectively monitoring and overseeing site works, including subcontract packages
  • Managing day-to-day issues
  • Producing reports on each project at agreed intervals
