In a select and carefully chosen number of locations, Lantana brings their magic to prestigious office settings. As well as running the restaurant serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, they will be responsible for coffee bars, events, and meeting room catering too.

We are currently recruiting for an experienced and passionate Assistant General Manager to join one of our residencies in the heart of Fitzrovia; could it be you?

What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Leading and managing our hospitality, restaurant, events and barista teams.
  • Recruiting, motivating, coaching and retaining your team as well as creating a culture of fairness, fun and feedback.
  • Managing and monitoring Outlook calendar and inbox throughout the day.
  • Meeting or beating labour forecasts.
  • Programming our tills (Lightspeed software), designing weekly menus and slides (Power Point).
  • Being a problem solver
  • Leading shifts with positive energy, pace and intensity, regularly interacting with customers.
  • Running and managing large events or multiple events in one day.
  • Taking accountability for keeping the client happy, everyone safe, and the finances on point.
  • Working closely with your kitchen team to unite FOH and BOH.
  • Be hands-on during services.
  • Placing orders, managing wastage, completing stocktakes as well as being able to investigate any discrepancies.
  • Creating quotes for internal events upon request.
  • Using and monitoring our due diligence (Trail App) – our checklist for health and safety, brand standards and daily operations
  • Being obsessive about great hospitality which is monitored through our Mystery Dining Criteria.
  • Supporting the GM at all times as well as taking responsibility for the business in the absence of the GM.

You must have proof of right to work in the UK to join us.
