Overview

This is a unique opportunity to join RIU Plaza London Victoria as an Assistant Front Office Manager. Your primary responsibility will be to support the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front office department. You will assist in leading and managing the front desk team, ensuring exceptional guest service, efficient check-in and check-out procedures, and smooth coordination among various departments. Your role is crucial in maintaining high standards of guests' satisfaction and upholding the hotel's reputation.

RIU Plaza London Victoria is part of RIU Hotels & Resorts, operating over 100 hotels in more than 20 countries. Our four-star hotel features 435 stylish rooms and a prime location just steps away from Victoria Station, offering an engaging and welcoming work environment since opening in July 2023.

What You'll Do
  • Supporting the Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily operations of the front desk, including staffing, scheduling, task allocation and grooming.
  • Collaborating with other hotel departments to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
  • Resolving guests' difficult situations in a timely and professional manner.
  • Assisting in training and onboarding new front desk staff, ensuring they understand their roles and responsibilities.
  • Assisting with administrative duties, such as preparing reports, managing guest records, and updating relevant documentation.
  • Excellent communication skills for both internal staff and guest interactions.
  • Ability to collaborate with other departments like housekeeping, maintenance, and F&B to ensure smooth service.
