Assistant Branch Manager – Assistant Manager (Sales)

Join us as a results driven Assistant Manager to deliver sales and exceed customer expectations as part of a hugely successful branch team.

Role Overview

You will report directly to the Branch Manager and support day-to-day running of the branch. You will identify and capitalize on every sales opportunity, inspiring customers and building rapport quickly.

Key Responsibilities
  • Effective management of the team and resources in the absence of the Branch Manager
  • Assist the Branch Manager to profitably meet and exceed branch sales targets
  • Manage the sales office, branch purchasing and stock control
  • Maximise margin and net profit
  • Ensure safety compliance for all staff
  • Build and maintain relationships with new and existing trade and retail customers
Qualifications & Experience
  • Previous sales experience in a similar environment is preferable, but a positive attitude is paramount.
  • Tenacity and resilience; proactive sales approach with strong desire to win new business.
  • Experience in customer relationship management and partnership development.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Self‑confident, self‑motivated, able to work independently or as part of a team.
