Assistant Bar Manager - Prestigious Oxford College Location: Central Oxford Salary: £24,278 per annum Hours: 37.5 hours per week (5 days)

About the Role: We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Assistant Bar Manager to join one of Oxford's distinguished college bars. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a prestigious academic setting while developing your hospitality management career.

Key Responsibilities: • Support the Bar Manager in daily operations and service delivery • Assist in staff supervision, training, and scheduling • Ensure exceptional customer service standards • Manage stock control and inventory • Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene • Handle cash management and daily reconciliation • Assist with special events and college functions • Implement health and safety procedures

Requirements: • Previous bar management or supervisory experience • Strong leadership and communication skills • Personal licence holder (preferred) • Experience with cash handling and stock management • Excellent customer service skills • Flexible approach to working hours • Knowledge of health and safety regulations
