Job description

Assistant Accountant l £30,000 - £40,000 DOE + Bonus l Study Support l Hybrid (3 days in office)

Axon Moore are delighted to be working exclusively with a well-established international manufacturing business, who are looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their friendly team.

Working from their offices in Northwich, you will be responsible for supporting the Finance Manager with the following:

  1. Monthly reconciliations
  2. Accruals and prepayments
  3. Maintaining fixed asset register and monthly depreciation adjustments
  4. Preparation of monthly management accounts pack
  5. Preparation of monthly intercompany recharges and supporting documents
  6. Preparation of aging documents
  7. Preparing monthly reports for parent company
  8. Balance sheet reconciliations
  9. Assisting with budget and forecast preparation
  10. Preparation of monthly transactional report
  11. Audit preparation and assisting while auditors are on site

This is a great opportunity for somebody who is in the early to middle stages of their CIMA qualification (ideally Certificate/Operational level) wanting to gain further exposure within a great business and team!
