A leading telecom company in the UK is looking for a Logistics Assistant to join their team in Crawley. This role involves supporting telecom projects across the country by moving goods, managing records, and assisting with both physical and administrative tasks. Candidates must have a full UK driving licence and experience in logistics. At M Group Telecom, we’re enabling and enhancing telecom networks, playing a lead role in the delivery of our tech enabled future. We deliver full network cycle services for fixed, private and mobile operators. This role will be within our Fixed networks team, you’ll join our people who support providing turnkey solutions for the surveying, designing, building and commissioning new networks, while supporting the repair, maintenance and operation of existing networks.
We are looking for someone to join our logistics team in Crawley. This role supports the work we do across telecom projects in the UK. You will help with moving goods and keeping records. You will also help with deliveries and returns. This role involves both physical and office-based tasks. You will help with lifting and storing items. You will also help with checking paperwork and updating systems. You will work with drivers and other teams to make sure everything runs smoothly. You will help keep the warehouse tidy and safe. You will also help make sure stock is in the right place. You will use systems to record what comes in and what goes out. You will help with keeping things clear and easy to find. You will work with other teams across the business. You will help share updates and solve problems. You will help make sure the right items get to the right place at the right time. This role suits someone who likes to be organised. You will enjoy helping others and working as part of a team. You will be happy to do physical work and also help with admin tasks.
You must have a UK driving licence. It is strongly recommended that you have a forklift licence. You should be comfortable using basic computer systems. You must have experience in working with logistics or stores. You will hold a full UK driving licence. You will understand how to work safely and follow health and safety rules. You will be able to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Teams and Outlook. You will be able to speak clearly and listen well. You will be able to keep things tidy and follow a plan. You will be able to work with others and share updates. You will be able to stay calm and focused when things change. You will be able to show care in your work and help others when needed. You will be able to keep track of items and follow steps. You will be able to show drive and ambition in your work. You will be able to support good service and help the team meet its goals.
