Asset Performance Analyst – Care and Commercial Assets

Anywhere (WFH with some travel)

£37,414.20 (rising to £39,383.42 after 12 months satisfactory performance)

35 hours per week

Day to day the Asset Data team supports the Care/Commercial property team members (55 people) with the activities needed to procure, manage, and deliver Group reinvestment projects. This includes monitoring financial performance of reinvestment and cyclical projects, supporting system inputs and process improvements, overseeing performance metrics, and reporting on data such as repairs and compliance to develop information to complement decision making.

Important qualities for success in this role are being highly organised, attention to detail, ability to manage multiple priorities and to be a proactive self-starter and problem solver. A background or experience in asset data, finance or reinvestment projects is beneficial.

The role of Asset Performance Analyst will include:
  • Develop and manage monitoring processes to ensure regional reinvestment projects are prioritised in line with programmes, including weekly reporting and providing system support to Property Managers and Senior Surveyors to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget.
  • Manage the creation of capital, cyclical and remodelling investment projects on OneSanctuary BPC module. Monitor budget spend and progression throughout the project lifecycle identifying any areas of concern and addressing these with relevant staff, escalating where necessary.
  • Support the development, implementation and evaluation of data management systems, such as Stock Condition and Repairs reporting to monitor the Care and Commercial Assets property portfolio to support investment decisions, including analysing existing arrangements, undertaking research, and recommending changes to support achievement of the Group's objectives.
  • Effectively promote the understanding and consistent utilisation of information systems and support the improvement of SAP Asset Data updates within the Care and Commercial Directorate in line with Group objectives.
  • Provide regular, high quality management information and updates to senior management on programme delivery, making recommendations for improvements to support decision making and inform business planning in accordance with statutory requirements and Group policy.
  • Support the requirements for expanding asset reporting systems and manage the implementation, to ensure that performance is measured accurately and meaningfully against agreed targets and KPIs.
  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders to identify practical business improvements and scope service and product improvements that meet the current and future needs of customers.
  • Manage the performance and development of quality people to ensure strong teams are built who can deliver in line with business needs and individual accountabilities.
Skills and experiences:
  • Previous experience of managing projects, working with budgets and financial reporting
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • The ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workloads
  • Outstandingly organised with a high degree of attention to detail and accuracy
  • Experience interrogating numbers and large volumes of data
  • Ability to present recommendations based on analysis, logic and evidence
  • Experience of using stock condition software systems is desirable
  • Proficient user of Microsoft Office applications with knowledge of project systems in SAP is desirable
  • This role will involve driving on company business. In order to drive a company vehicle, drivers must hold a full valid UK driving licence
