A local NHS organization in Bridgwater is seeking a registered mental health practitioner to join their Assertive Outreach Team. This role offers the chance to support individuals with serious mental illnesses and complex needs. You will work in a compassionate, multi-disciplinary team with flexible working hours and participate in team activities. An exciting opportunity has arisen within our Assertive Outreach Team, as part of our Community Mental Health Service, based in Bridgwater. We are looking for an enthusiastic practitioner (Registered Mental Health Nurse, Social Worker or Occupational Therapist) who is keen to support people with serious mental illness (SMI) and complex needs, across a shared caseload. Our team responds rapidly to the needs of adults needing mental health advice and support. The team is established, supportive, knowledgeable and above all passionate about what they do. This opportunity is for 5 days per week (37.5 hours), 9am-5pm – with flexibility around condensed hours and start/finish times. We are a supportive, compassionate multi-disciplinary service where every person is an integral part of the team.
