Aspiring Science Teacher Programme – £36,500

A fantastic Secondary School in the Borough of Westminster is hiring an Aspiring Science Teacher for an ASAP start. This is a full-time, permanent position.

You will be paid on the Unqualified Teacher Scale – the point will depend on strengths & experience, ranging from £27,500 to £36,500.

You will work across the Science Department, teaching KS3-4 lessons with a focus on attainment and quality of learning. This role is ideal for an aspiring Science Teacher looking to gain experience before enrolling in teacher training.

The Head Teacher prefers a Science Graduate with one of the following degrees:

  • Biology (Science)
  • Chemistry (Science)
  • Geology (Science)
  • Physics (Science)
  • Natural Sciences (Science)
  • Mathematics & Physics (Science)
  • Environmental Science (Science)
  • Geography & Environmental Science (Science)
  • Health Science (Science)
  • Healthcare & Fitness (Science)
  • Any STEM related degree (Science)

You will have the opportunity to enrol on a Salaried Schools Direct programme via the Secondary School, starting September 2026 or 2027.
