Our client is a UKAS accredited and nationally recognised company within the asbestos industry. They are recruiting for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Asbestos Trainer based in or around the Birmingham area. The ideal applicant will demonstrate expert knowledge and experience delivering asbestos training courses to internal and external clients. The successful candidate will hold the P402/3/4/5 certificates and ideally hold the CCP/Assessor qualification. Applications from Wolverhampton, Coventry, Leicester, and the surrounding area are welcomed.

Qualifications & Experience

• Combination of P402/3/4/5 and W504 asbestos certificates; ideally CCP/Assessor qualification.
• Significant experience carrying out asbestos audits on a variety of site types.
• Previous experience in asbestos training is beneficial but not essential.
• Full understanding of relevant health & safety policies, procedures and guidelines relating to asbestos.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Competent with Microsoft Office.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver a portfolio of UKATA and BOHS approved asbestos‑related training courses.
• Contribute to the design of courses – content, structure and delivery strategy.
• Carry out asbestos audits on a variety of site types ensuring compliance with all relevant health & safety guidelines.
• Ensure existing courses are updated in line with legislative changes.
• Oversee and review trainers to keep them up to date on current legislation.
• Train and audit new trainers.
