An opportunity has arisen within a well-established and eminent asbestos company providing outstanding advice and services to clients across the UK. They are currently looking to employ an experienced, professional and business-minded Asbestos Removal Contracts/Sales Manager based in and around the South East area. They are looking for a candidate who comes from a strong asbestos background with experience planning works, generating method statements and managing a large team of asbestos operatives. The ideal candidate will be someone with an excellent head for business, technical industry knowledge with the ability to generate new business leads. Application form Southend-on-Sea, Dartford, London, Watford, Crawley, Maidstone and the surrounding areas will be considered.

Qualifications & Experience

• Must have a strong asbestos removals, contracts and management background.
• Previous experience in a contracts manager role within the asbestos industry.
• Excellent working knowledge of asbestos Health and Safety legislations/procedures.
• Good communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Proficient IT skills including competency in Microsoft Office Package.
• Interest in p401/p402/p403/p404/p404 or s301 CCP.

Duties Within The Role

• Contract managing asbestos removal projects.
• Planning of asbestos works.
• Managing and overseeing a large team of asbestos operatives.
• Ensure that work is carried out in accordance with the correct Health & Safety procedures.
• Completing risk assessments, method statements, writing tenders, PPQs, specifications and ASB5 notifications.
• Achieving KPI’s.
• Appraising potential contracts and generating business leads.
• Organisation of staff to achieve completion of contracts.
• Collating and producing management reports in accordance with company procedures and guidelines.
• Assist with Health & Safety training/issues.
• Dealing with incoming sales enquiries.
• Building and maintaining professional rapport with companies.
