Overview

As the Post Room Clerk, your responsibilities include but are not limited too:

  • Responsible for the receipt, distribution and despatch of all internal and external mail
  • Receive, Control and Dispatch all mail from Royal Mail and Parcel force. Sort mail and distribute it between all sub unit pigeon holes in a timely manner, maintaining accurate registers for recorded delivery items
  • Maintain register of postal charges for barrack units and non-entitled personnel raising bills each month and copying to the Station Admin Warrant Officer
  • Other duties in support of HQ Wyvern Station as directed by the Station Staff Officer and your line manager
