Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms and Showers

Job Title: Area Sales Manager – Bathrooms and Showers

Industry Sector: Plumbers Merchants, Independent Bathroom specialists, Independent Retailers, Bathroom Showrooms, Merchants and DIY Stores

Area to be covered: South West and South Central – ideally based M4 corridor

Remuneration: £38,000-£42,000 + 20% Bonus

Benefits: £500 per month car allowance or hybrid car & full benefits

Overview

The role is a field sales position focused on promoting taps, showers and accessories for bathrooms. The majority of time is spent selling into plumbers merchants, with a smaller portion focused on independent bathroom specialists, independent retailers and bathroom showrooms. You will inherit an established area with significant growth potential and be responsible for circa 600+ plumbers merchant customers (about 100 actively spending). The role is initially account development focused, with initial revenue responsibility of approximately £650,000, aiming to grow the area to £750,000. A 12-week journey plan will be implemented to visit plumbers merchants in proportion to their value to the business. Typical activity is 4 days on the road visiting customers and 1 day per week working from home or for admin.

• Proven field sales track record
• Must have sold into plumbers merchants (consideration for someone currently working for a plumbers merchant seeking first field sales role)
