Job summary

A reputable housing consultancy in the United Kingdom is seeking an experienced Planner to manage repairs scheduling and support operational teams. The ideal candidate should possess strong organizational skills, GCSEs including Mathematics and English, and proficiency in IT systems such as Microsoft Excel. Responsibilities include effective planning of operational diaries, coordinating maintenance repairs, and ensuring compliance with GDPR. This is a temporary position based in Manchester.

Qualifications

  • Excellent communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • GCSEs at Grade C or above, including Mathematics and English.
  • Proficient IT skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel and Word.
  • Experience of using database systems (Connect / Northgate / DRS).
  • Knowledge related to construction.
  • Previous experience with a Housing Association or Maintenance Contractor.

Responsibilities

  • Provide effective planning for operatives' diaries to achieve operational KPIs.
  • Coordinate the scheduling of maintenance repairs.
  • Maintain the scheduling system and provide accurate information.
  • Liaise with customer service regarding appointments and updates.
  • Ensure all enquiries are answered according to service standards.
  • Work with the commercial team on subcontractors' orders.
  • Ensure compliance with GDPR regulations.
  • Take Health and Safety measures for personal and customer safety.
  • Support safeguarding procedures for customers.
