A leading equipment solutions provider in the UK is looking for an Apprentice Workshop Engineer to join their 4-year apprenticeship programme aimed at becoming a qualified Lift Truck and Powered Access Technician. You will start with mentorship and gain practical experience, progressively increasing responsibilities. Strong focus on learning through hands-on tasks under supervision. Salary starts at £16,640 in Year 1, increasing as you meet targets.

Opportunity : Apprentice Workshop Engineer

Location : Haydock, Merseyside.

Contract : 4 Year Apprenticeship

Salary : £16,640 in Year 1, salary will increase on a yearly basis providing all targets are achieved.

Our 4-year Apprentice Engineer training programme offers you the chance to become a fully qualified Lift Truck and Powered Access engineering Technician. As part of the team, Briggs Equipment Engineers diagnose faults, carry out servicing, and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems across a diverse and expanding range of Materials Handling Equipment.

What will you be doing as an Engineer Apprentice :

• Years 1 to 3 you will complete the 3-year apprenticeship qualification : Lift Truck and Powered Access Engineering Technician standard.

You will gain on-the job experience, starting with shadowing your mentor and other Engineers, progressing to performing tasks under supervision, then alongside qualified Engineers where your work will be checked and signed off.
