Qualifications

• An interest in mechanical engineering or practical/technical work is desirable.
• Awareness of health & safety expectations in the workplace.
• No previous mechanical experience required—full training provided.

Responsibilities

• Support planned and reactive mechanical maintenance across campus facilities.
• Learn to diagnose faults and carry out basic repairs.
• Assist in statutory compliance checks, including water safety and pressure systems.
• Keep accurate maintenance records to support compliance and apprenticeship progress.
