Sales Strategy and Business Growth
- Develop and implement long-term sales strategies aligned with global objectives to drive business growth and enhance the company's market presence in the APAC region.
- Identify and prioritize key growth markets and client segments, tailoring sales approaches to meet their needs.
- Pursue new business opportunities and deepen relationships with institutional and wholesale clients such as banks, trading houses, refiners, and investors.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including trading, production, marketing, and commercial operations to ensure integrated service delivery.
- Represent the company at industry conferences and client meetings to boost brand visibility and market leadership.
Client and Market Engagement
- Manage a diverse client base, offering a range of precious metals services including refining, physical trading, paper trading, and investment solutions.
- Use data-driven insights and market research to anticipate market shifts and adjust strategies accordingly.
- Collect client feedback and market intelligence to improve products, services, and sales tactics.
Sales Management and Leadership
- Lead and inspire a cross-border sales team, setting KPIs, conducting performance reviews, and fostering a culture of high performance, collaboration, and ethical conduct.
- Oversee sales execution, pricing strategies, promotions, and product launches.
- Drive cross-selling and synergies across refining, trading, and minting business lines.
- Ensure operational excellence, governance, compliance with regulations, and adherence to ESG and responsible sourcing commitments.
The Successful Applicant
Required Qualifications and Experience
- A Master's degree or equivalent in Business Management, Finance, or related field.
- Over 15 years of experience in sales leadership roles within precious metals, commodities, financial services, or related industries.
- Deep knowledge of physical and paper trading of precious metals and commodities.
- Strong understanding of international regulations, market practices, and compliance standards relevant to precious metals trading.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful sales strategies in the APAC region.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead and motivate multicultural, cross-border sales teams.
- Proficiency in English is required; additional regional languages are an asset.
- Familiarity with digital sales tools and CRM systems.
