Job description

The Supply Register is working in partnership with Coleg Cambria to begin gathering suitable candidates for a temporary Animal Care Lecturer role, anticipated to start in January to cover a period of sickness absence. While the vacancy is pending final approval, we are keen to speak with qualified Animal Care Lecturers who would be available for a short-term full-time assignment at the Northop campus.

Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality teaching to Level 1-3 Animal Care learners.
  • Teach across City & Guilds Technical and legacy Animal Care / Management programmes.
  • Support delivery of SEG Awards Animal Nursing Assistant qualifications.
  • Plan lessons, assess learner progress, and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment.
Requirements
  • PGCE (or equivalent recognised teaching qualification).
  • Level 6 qualification in Animal Care.
  • Experience teaching Level 1-3 learners.
  • Strong subject knowledge across Animal Care and Animal Management.
  • A learner-centred, professional approach to teaching.
