Job summary

A major healthcare provider in London is inviting applications for a Senior Clinical Fellow in Anaesthetics. This role is for 6 to 12 months and involves providing anaesthetic cover in main theatres and supporting the on-call anaesthetic team. Candidates must have GMC registration and substantial training in anaesthesia, including obstetric anaesthesia experience. The position offers a salary of £44,170 to £67,610 plus London Weighting.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 3 years of postgraduate training, including 18 months of anaesthetic training and a primary FRCA examination.
  • FRCA or equivalent.
  • Experience in obstetric anaesthesia at SpR level.
  • At least 3 months ITU training; experience in specialities other than anaesthesia.

Responsibilities

  • Provide anaesthetic cover in main theatres and support on-call anaesthetic team.
  • Participate in pain and analgesia service.
  • Transfer patients to other hospitals.

Anaesthetic Senior Clinical Fellow

Applications are invited for a Senior Clinical Fellow post in Anaesthesics at The Hillingdon Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. These posts are for 6 months - 1 year.

Main duties of the job

The post holder will work in a 1 in 8 EWTD compliant rota to provide anaesthetic cover in main theatres and support the on‑call anaesthetic team when necessary, including obstetric anaesthetist and ICU. The role will cover work at both sites: The Hillingdon Hospital and Mount Vernon Hospital.
