A leading Educational Support Organization is seeking SEND Alternative Provision Mentors for freelance roles in Nottinghamshire. This position focuses on mentoring young people with complex needs, requiring a grounded and patient approach. Ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to connect with students, offer one-to-one support, and adapt to various learning environments. Flexible, part-time hours are available during term time, aiming to make a significant impact on learners aged 7 to 16.
Beyond Limits Learning and Wellbeing
This is not tutoring as most people know it.
We are looking for mentors, motivators and people who can inspire young learners, not classroom replicas.
Many of our learners have complex SEND needs. Others have been excluded or are at risk of exclusion. They need calm, steady adults who can meet them with patience, curiosity and genuine care. Your role is to connect with them, build trust and help them grow from wherever they currently are.
If you are the type of person who sits beside a young person instead of standing over them, you will fit in well here.
We would love to hear from you.
We are building a team of calm, grounded, and heart-led practitioners who want to make a real difference every day.
