Job Description
Domitek Inc is seeking a licensed Alarm System / Electronic Security Technician to join our rapidly expanding team. We make security simple for our clients by providing white glove service and tailored solutions to meet their unique needs. This technician will primarily support our Installation team in installing low voltage systems and subsystems across commercial, industrial, and residential clients. This includes installation of burglar alarm, camera systems, and access control systems.
Job Responsibilities
- Pull and feed wires, developing strong knowledge of proper wire securing guidelines per state electrical code. Troubleshoot wire structure and connection issues.
- Install security systems, camera systems, and access control devices in accordance with electrical code requirements and regulations.
- Test and troubleshoot security, camera, and access control systems/networks as needed.
- Read and follow building plans, electrical designs, and blueprints for installations.
- Maintain administrative records of project deadlines, work and travel time, materials, receipts, inventory, and other project-related information.
- Operate work vehicles, lifts, power tools, and other equipment safely, adhering to OSHA and client safety standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Professional Qualifications
- MA Class D Low Voltage Electrical License
- CT / RI / other state Low Voltage Electrical License
- NICET certifications
- 2-5 years of field experience
- OSHA 10 certification

Physical Demands and Work Environment
The physical demands include:
- Visual ability to discern wiring
- Prolonged standing, kneeling, bending, twisting, and climbing ladders
- Operating machinery such as lifts and excavators
- Pulling wires and cables through conduits
- Lifting up to 50 pounds
- Performing outdoor work in various weather conditions at construction sites with exposure to noise, lights, and debris
