Job Title: Airside Operations Co-ordinator

Compensation: £28,087.80 + £3,604.98 Shift Allowance

The role

As an Airside Operations Co-ordinator, you’ll have a role that’s out of the ordinary. You will ensure the RAF can deliver a safe and reliable service in the operational requirements of the Armed Forces.

Day-to-day, you’ll have the following responsibilities:

  • Movement of freight/baggage on/off aircraft/loading platforms
  • Assist Royal Air Force Personnel in VIP escorting duties
  • Assisting RAF Movements staff in any other trade specific task as required.

This role is full time working 37.5 hours per week and is based onsite at RAF Northolt, Ruislip.

Essential experience of the Airside Operations Co-ordinator:
  • Stakeholder engagement experience on a face-to-face level
  • Customer service commitment
  • Strong communications and an understanding of diplomacy
  • Health and safety knowledge
Qualifications for the Airside Operations Co-ordinator:
  • Driving forklifts as part of the role and training on this element can be given so standard driving licence is required which must be clean.
