Job summary

A leading aviation services provider is seeking an Aircraft Maintenance Planner for a 6-month contract at Bournemouth Airport. You will be responsible for ensuring effective scheduling of maintenance activities in line with aviation regulations while coordinating with procurement to guarantee timely parts availability. The ideal candidate must possess an EASA or CAA part 66 license and have a background in aerospace engineering. The role requires adherence to safety management systems and the ability to hold security clearance.

Qualifications

  • Experience in production planning and maintenance scheduling in aviation.

Responsibilities

  • Perform Production Planning and Control activities.

  • Ensure timely availability of all parts requirements.

Skills

Knowledge of Aviation Production Planning principles and practices

Able to hold an SC-Level security clearance

Education

EASA, CAA, or other Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer License

Aircraft Maintenance Planner

Rate: £40 per hour Umbrella (Inside IR35) or £30 per hour PAYE

Location: Bournemouth Airport

Duration: 6 months

Hours: 40 hours a week

We are looking for an Aircraft Maintenance Planner to be responsible for production planning and control activities in accordance with Aviation Regulations and International Standards.

Responsibilities
  • Adhere to Aviation Regulatory Responsibility (EASA, UK CAA, UK MAA)
  • Perform Production Planning and Control activities
  • Schedule maintenance work ahead of time
  • Support organization of maintenance teams and shifts during work
  • Interact with Procurement and Supply Chain to ensure timely availability of all parts requirements
  • Arrange accommodation and hangar availability
  • Provide effective man‑hour estimation, planning, and availability
  • Schedule critical maintenance tasks
Requirements
  • Knowledge of Aviation Production Planning principles and practices
  • Practical application‑level knowledge of Safety Management System principles and requirements as applicable in aviation
  • EASA, CAA, or other Part 66 B1/B2 Aircraft Engineer License; relevant Aerospace experience; Aeronautical Engineering Degree
  • Able to hold an SC‑Level security clearance
