A leading defense contracting firm in Scotland is looking for an Aircraft Engineering Supervisor. The position requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in an airworthiness environment, relevant knowledge of Wildcat aircraft, and supervisory certification. Aircraft Engineering Supervisors (Wildcat) (Mechanical and Avionics) – RNAS Yeovilton, Yeovil BA22 8HT. Competitive salary plus benefits. 38, 40, or 45 hours per week contracts available. Monday–Friday (flexible with option for shift work with additional pay).
Serco are proud to support the Fleet Air Arm, including the Wildcat Maritime Force (WMF) based at Royal Naval Air Station Yeovilton, delivering services ranging from the repair and maintenance of military aircraft to fuel delivery and off-aircraft support services. Yeovilton is one of the Royal Navy’s two principal air stations, one of the busiest military airfields in the UK and home to more than 100 aircraft.
Serco have exciting opportunities for Aircraft Engineering Supervisors (Any Trade) (Wildcat) to be based at our site at RNAS Yeovilton in Somerset. This role is responsible for aircraft management and ground support to Wildcat aircraft.
Our Aircraft Engineering Supervisors carry out contracted tasks ensuring customer policy and regulations are met to a high standard, and raise any customer complaints, quality issues and business risks with Team leads. You will comply with The Health and Safety at Work (HASAW) Act 1974 and Customer Policy and Regulations. You will be responsible for completing any administration duties required and be willing to attend further training to develop your skills and knowledge.
We offer this position as 40 or 45 hours per week, working Monday–Friday, with an option to undertake shift work and additional shift pay.
